Life has recently slowed down, living in South Carolina for the past thirteen years along with Sherry, my wife of forty-six years and counting. We have three rescue dogs, Cher, Sadie, and Gube, short for Goober. We live close enough to our daughter Jennifer and her husband Jeff to enjoy family get togethers.
I enjoy writing and reading poetry, particularly by Billy Collins, as well as short story themes to share with my online writers group at The Writer’s Block. The paints and canvas’s stay close at hand for when the inspiration hits. The recipe file is always close by; I also consider baking a pie or loaf of bread worthwhile past times.
Having owned and restored an assortment of British cars over the years, I now have Roseanna Roseanna Danna, my old Citroen 2CV. She keeps me busy if I need something mechanical to do in return for getting me to my rounds. Life is anything but boring.
